Osaka: Neon Lights & Street Food

Osaka is second largest metropolitan area after Tokyo. They are known for flashy signage, nightlife and hearty street food. Our airbnb apartment is a walking distance from the city center so every end of the day was spent strolling Dotonbori. Big smiles, twinking eyes and full heart best describe our feelings in this first night escapade. Traveling  Japan gave us many firsts in our life actually.

Once upon a time I was a J-Drama fanatic. Hanayori Dango (Japanese version of Taiwan's Meteor Garden) was one of my favorite drama of all time. Tsukushi Makino and Matsumuto Jhun (Main actors of Hanayori Dango) were my biased since then. Watching many more Jdrama years after years, I got accustomed to them & told myself "Japan will be my first country I will set foot in." Fast forward today HELLO OSAKA!

This trip is not complete without trying their Yatai - small food stalls that offer tasty selection of on-the-go dishes. Street food that are expensive as if you are eating in a restaurant back home already. We grab a bite here & there anyway to taste the cuisine of a country famed for its street food.
